Visit to the Bishop’s Garden, Norwich

A group of us spent a really enjoyable afternoon at the Bishop’s Garden, shown around by the very knowledgeable Head Gardener, Sam Garland. Sam’s approach is all about maximising wildlife – especially invertebrates, and minimising use of bought in products, whether that is plants or compost. All at the same time as maintaining a historical ornamental garden with all the challenges of sitting on top of who knows what archaeological remains.
