Summer Show

Saturday 5th July 2025

Whether you are a longstanding member, or someone new to gardening (not to mention flower arranging, cooking and photography), it's time to start thinking about what you might want to enter into our first show of the year. Don’t assume your entry wouldn’t be good enough, or couldn’t win a prize, you might be pleasantly surprised. And whether or not you are going to enter anything, put the date in your diary and come along to have a look!

Autumn Show

Saturday 6th September 2025

Save the date. Our autumn show is similar to the summer show (see above) but with different classes - full details will appear here soon!

The Trouble Without Wasps - Ian Bedford

Thursday 16th October 2025

Wasps are not just a yellow and black striped aggressive insect that can annoy us in our gardens and homes. They are in fact an essential group of insects for protecting our crops and the health of our ecosystems.

Plant propagation to keep your borders full - Chris Davy

Thursday 20th November 2025

Chris Davy entertained us last year with his talk on irises (and more) and we welcome him back to speak about plant propagation to keep your borders full without buying plants.

Herbaceous border design and planting - Luci Skinner

Thursday 19th March 2026

We welcome back RHS trained Luci, former owner of Wootens of Wenhaston.

The programme for the rest of the year is being finalised and will be available here in due course.
