Summer Flower Show 2nd July 2026

At the beginning of July we held a small flower show in Whissonsett Village Hall. Thank you to all who came along to support the event. We had several entries in the roses categories and the vase of flowers category. The timing didn't work so well for sweet peas as some people had had an early display, which were almost finished and others were still waiting for them to come into flower.

Many thanks to Kathy Gray who kindly judged the entries. The winners were:-
Single rose - Mary Flook.
Vase of roses - Jan Davenport.
Vase of sweet peas - Linda Allenby.
Vase of mixed flowers - Mary Flook.
Best in Show prize went to Mary Flook for her vase of flowers.
